WHAT: Rep. Scott Boyd (R-West Lampeter), with other local officials, help Conestoga Valley (C.V.) High School students with an environmental cleanup of the Conestoga River in observance of Earth Day, and tree planting in observance of Arbor Day.
WHO: In cooperation with roughly 70 C.V. students, Boyd will be joined by C.V. school board officials; Kerrie Snavely, environmental science teacher at C.V.; Chad Forcey, Pennsylvania Landscape Nursery Association; and West Earl Township officials.
WHEN: Friday, April 17
TIME: 10 a.m. to noon
WHERE: West Earl Township Community Park. From Lancaster, take Route 222 North to the Brownstown Exit (Route 772 East). Take left onto Route 772. The park is located a half-mile ahead on the left.
